Beta Agreement

Yapper's Delight is an early version. This agreement says what that means for you, what the free yaps are, and how face detection is used. You agree to it when you sign up.
1. It is a beta
Things will break, change or go missing while we build. There is no promise the service will be available at any given time. We may change how it works, what it costs, or what a plan includes, and we may end the beta with 14 days notice by email. Nothing here is a commitment to launch a paid product.
2. Free yaps
A join link may give you two free yaps: two finished edits of videos up to 3 minutes long, at full quality with no watermark. A free yap only counts once its render finishes. If a render fails, it is not counted and you can try again. One free allowance per person and per verified email, ever. Free yaps have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be withdrawn if the link they came from is misused (for example, many accounts made to farm free edits).
3. Face detection
To place captions, notes and zooms without covering your face, the editor finds where a face is in each frame of your video. This runs on our rendering server while your edit is made. It measures position and size only. It does not identify you, compare you with anyone, or build a face profile, and no face data is kept after the render: the video frames and the positions are deleted with the job's working files. By agreeing you consent to this processing for your own uploads. Do not upload videos of other people without their permission.
4. Your videos and your feedback
Your uploads and your finished edits are yours. We use them only to make and deliver your edit, and we delete them 7 days after the edit is finished. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the product without owing you anything for it. You may post and share the videos you make with Yapper's Delight anywhere.
5. What we ask of you
Be 18 or older. Use your own email and one account. Follow the content rules. Do not try to get more free yaps than your link gives you, resell access, or use the service to break the law or someone else's rights.
6. Limits
The service is provided as it is, without warranties. To the fullest extent the law allows, [[COMPANY OR TRADING NAME]] is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost content, or lost revenue arising from the beta. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
