What Yapper's Delight collects, why, who sees it, and how to get it deleted. Short on purpose.

What we collect

  • Your email address, to sign you in and to tell you when an edit is ready or failed.
  • The videos you upload, the transcripts we make from them, the edited results, and any stickers, logos and photos you add.
  • The choices you make (style, settings, the cuts and tweaks you pick) so we can make the edit and remember your defaults.
  • Your handle and a short line if you type them, for the follow card in your videos.
  • Credit balance and purchase records.
  • Basic technical logs (time, what happened, error messages) so we can fix problems.

Face detection

To keep captions, notes and zooms off your face, the editor finds where a face is in each frame while it renders. It measures position and size only: it does not identify you, match you against anyone, or keep a face profile. The frames and positions are deleted with the job's working files as soon as the render is done. You agree to this in the Beta Agreement when you sign up.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show your videos to anyone else, use them to train any model, or use them in our own marketing. There is no advertising tracking on this site.

Who helps us run it

Your data is stored and processed by hosting, database, file storage, GPU computing, AI planning and email providers acting on our instructions. The transcript of your video and the text on screen are sent to an AI service to plan the edit. Your video itself is processed on rented computers we control. These providers do not get to use your content for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

Uploads, transcripts and finished videos are deleted 7 days after upload. Stickers, logos, settings and your account stay until you delete them or ask us to. Purchase records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your rights

Email us from your account address to see, export, correct or delete everything we hold about you. We answer within 14 days. You can turn the emails off in the app at any time.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. That is all.

Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top and tell you in the app.
